Returns and Exchanges

We want you to love your bold Contrueversial gear, but since our products are custom-printed just for you via our print-on-demand partner, we have a policy focused on quality issues only. We do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds for buyer's remorse, wrong size or color choices, or personal preferences (including if the graphics aren't your cup of tea after all). Make sure to check our size charts and product details before ordering—our designs are meant to provoke thought, not regrets!

What We Cover (Primarily, Quality Issues Only):

  • Damaged, Defective, or Misprinted Items: If your item arrives damaged in transit, defective (e.g., poor print quality not due to low-res artwork), or not as ordered (wrong item or print error), we'll make it right.
  • Lost Packages: If tracking shows no movement for an extended period, or the package is confirmed lost, we'll handle a replacement or refund.
  • Undeliverable Orders: If returned to us due to an incorrect address you provided, we'll hold it for 30 days. You can request reshipping, but you'll cover the new shipping costs.
  • Act of God: If something so ridiculously outlandish occurs to your product, that is well beyond your means of control, and you have proof (video preferred), send us an email at support@contrueversial.com with those details, specifying that the incident was an "Act of God." We will determine if you are eligible to receive a full refund/replacement, a gift card (store credit), a store discount, or a "Nice try, sorry!" We may even send you a gift depending on the severity. 

Timeline for Claims:

  • All issues must be reported within 30 days of delivery. After that, no dice—sorry, but that's how custom production works.

How to Submit a Return/Claim:

  1. Contact us at support@contrueversial.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos (required for damage/misprints).
  2. We'll review and coordinate with our fulfillment partner.
  3. If approved, you'll get a full refund (including original shipping) or a free replacement—your choice. We'll cover return shipping for approved quality issues.
  4. Refunds are processed to your original payment method within [e.g., 5-10 business days] after we receive the item back (if needed).

Exceptions and Notes:

  • No returns for items marked as delivered by tracking but claimed not received (e.g., porch pirates)—file a claim with the carrier instead.
  • International orders: Customs fees, duties, or taxes are non-refundable.
  • Bulk or promotional items may have different rules—check your order details.


Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
the EU 14 day right of withdrawal does not qualify for any purchases made to order.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return (if applicable), and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
