The year is 2025:

The job market is in freefall, the U.S. dollar is hemorrhaging value, and layoffs have skyrocketed to 1.1 million by December — the highest since the induced chaos of 2020. Most of these casualties come from tech and telecom, where once-thriving professionals are being swapped out for... Some company's machine-learning chatbot (or maybe a call center in India). Corporations are betting big that AI can bridge the void, churning out work better, harder, faster, and nonstop — replacing the irreplaceable: human hearts, minds, compassion, ingenuity, and that raw drive to nail it right and get sh*t done.

But here's the truth: An algorithm can't conjure solutions to problems it hasn't been spoon-fed. Sure, it can scrape forums full of gripes and complaints, but how does it truly grasp what a real fix looks like? Bottom line—no matter your skill level, you're expendable. They don't give a damn about you. That "family" vibe with your coworkers and C-suite overseers? If you haven't figured it out yet, it's just not the case. You're just a cog, a means to their end, and hilariously, they're betting on the wrong horse.


I'm the founder of Contrueversial Design, and this is my solace and potential savior from the repetitious death-by-process hell hole I consider my career. I can stomach a lot of BS — I'm built for it — but I refuse to chug the Kool-Aid. And I'm not just venting about corporate jargon (WTF is a flywheel sale?) or endless meetings that could've been an email. I'm calling out the shady networks: groups and individuals embedded in the upper tiers most aren't aware of, pulling strings from their estates, far from public scrutiny, and protected from any real record-keeping.

But the tide is turning. An uprising has been brewing.

People are waking up everywhere, tuning into signals that shatter their perception of what should and shouldn't be normal. Whatever sparked your awakening, I'm here to fuel the fire—for you, for all of us at the bottom, ready to dismantle the platforms which those who have caused us all great harm, sit upon. This is the year we plant our flag. Revolutions are igniting across the globe, and there's no sign of the momentum fading. Let's grab that torch and run with it.
